Geoprocessing in Demography
This line of research investigates the relationship between demographic dynamics and environmental change. It examines the determinants and the environmental consequences of population growth. It also examines the age and sex composition of groups in certain environmental conditions, and populations under environmental risk. The area of spatial demography also embraces the relationship between health and the environment, paying attention to population displacements and to how thesedemographic processes are closely related to environmental changes.
