Demography of Ethnicity
This area focuses on studies of specific population segments, such as the poor, women, the elderly and special ethnic groups such as the black and indigenous populations. Intergenerational, interracial and gender relations are taken into account in the study of the demographic components of these segments. Differences among regions in the country, as well as historical series of indicators make it possible to evaluate the present state of inequalities and their tendencies over time.
