Library
The Library of the Núcleo de Estudos de População (NEPO) was created with the aim of supporting the research developed by the Center. The collection includes books, periodicals, theses, works of reference (census, PNADs, demographic and statistical yearbooks etc.), as well as bibliographic and reference data bases, printed or in electronic media with emphasis on materials covering the area of demography.
The Bibliographic Database, a project created with the support of FAPESP, aims to make demographic information available to a wider public. As part of this project, the database may be consulted on NEPO’s website.
In addition, NEPO publications are available online (Textos NEPO, Demographic Data, Research Reports, working papers, thesis, dissertations) and a number of links selected for access to other bibliographic databases of interest in the area of population studies.
The Library is open from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
